A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

I was eight years old when I rode my first horse; upon her back, my whole world melted away and all of my troubles vanished It was the most magical feeling I could have ever experienced. It only took a few years for me to meet the horse that would hold my heart for the following twenty-five years.

I grew up riding and showing halter and hunter jumper classes on the Arab circuit and truly found my passion for the breed. I not only learned about the horse industry and showing, but I also learned all about horse care and the daily chores of maintaining a ranch. All my time outside of school was spent cleaning stalls, feeding, grooming, lunging and riding. Even though it was hard work, especially when you are a kid, it never once turned me away from the love and passion I had for horses.

I am now a mom to 5 beautiful daughters and life looks a little different. I really thought having 5 girls meant a life with horses would be a sure thing. I quickly learned not all girls like horses. HA HA HA! Luckily for me I do have 2 (maybe 3, one is only 5 so it has yet to be seen) that LOVE horses like I do. My oldest daughter owns her own Arab and he is the love of her life. My other daughter is currently leasing a Haflinger and taking lessons with her in hopes of becoming an amazing hunter jumper. She tells me all the time “when I am older I am going to be a horse trainer and a horse photographer'.” Melts my heart. So while I personally don’t own a horse of my own right now I am enjoying horses in a whole new way, through the eyes of my children. I also get to visit with and love on each of my clients gorgeous horses! Nothing better in the world then snuggling with a horse! We all know how just the smell of horses can fix even the worst of days. Going to work never seems bad when its an equine shoot day. My job doesn’t feel like a job. Its more like equine therapy for me. I love every second of it!

Within my photography, I empathize with fellow equestrians as I capture beautiful moments of the love and connection you share with your horse. I know how important it is to create moments that are extraordinarily unique, and I do so by making each of my shoots individualized and enjoyable for every one of my clients.
